Conflicts in the OV7 Group: Revelations from Ari Boroboy

In 2019, during the Noventas Pop Tour concert series, internal tensions arose within the OV7 group. These tensions fractured relationships among the group members, creating conflicts and disagreements.

Ari Boroboy, partner of Bobo Producciones and producer of the Noventas Pop Tour, decided to break the silence about what happened. In Miguel Layun's podcast, Boroboy revealed that he felt betrayed by three members of OV7. Although he did not mention names, he expressed feeling very hurt by the betrayal of such close friends.

In his words, "The betrayal of a friend is more painful than the hatred of an enemy." He recalled a particularly difficult moment during a concert five years ago, where he was booed by twenty-five thousand people. Despite the conflicts that have lasted more than five years, Boroboy continues to work in what he loves most, despite feeling that others have taken advantage of his silence.

The story of OV7 dates back to its beginnings as La Onda Vaselina, a children's group created in 1989 by Julissa, a singer and actress. Originally, they performed songs from the movie "Grease." In the year 2000, the group decided to become independent due to problems with their representative, who kept the name. Thus, OV7 was born, including Mariana, Ari, Mbalia, Erika, Oscar, Lidia, and Kalimba would later join. In 2003, they said goodbye to the stage for the first time, only to reunite in 2010.
