They had been summoned previously on Thursday, April 10, but did not show up, so they were summoned again.

In their appearance alongside their legal representatives, the members of Los Alegres del Barranco decided to abstain from making statements, according to the Attorney General's Office. Despite this situation, the group has continued promoting their concerts on social media for the first week of May.

Six people related to Los Alegres del Barranco went to the Vice Attorney General's Office for Specialized Investigation of Social Coordination due to an investigation initiated for alleged glorification of crime. The Attorney General's Office indicated that members could face up to six months in prison under Article 142 of the Penal Code for the State of Jalisco for their alleged participation in this crime.

Authorities informed about the progress in the legal process against the group Los Alegres del Barranco, in connection with the projection of images of a drug trafficker during one of their concerts at the end of March. This act was considered as glorification of the crime of violence, for which they could face legal consequences.
