President Claudia Sheinbaum celebrated Children's Day, sending a special message to all minors in Mexico. She emphasized the importance of viewing girls and boys as the present of society, not just the future. She underscored the need to build a better world for both current and future generations.

During her speech, Sheinbaum highlighted the actions implemented by her Government to improve education and ensure access to opportunities for Mexican children. One of the examples mentioned was the scholarships for students, which will extend to primary and secondary education starting in 2026.

The president pointed out that these scholarships aim to eliminate the idea of meritocracy among the youngest, recognizing everyone equally under equal circumstances. She stressed the importance of children striving in school but emphasized that recognition goes beyond academic grades.

To close the conference, a brief musical act was held in honor of all the children present at the National Palace to commemorate the date. Sheinbaum took the opportunity to reiterate her message of happiness and recognition towards the girls and boys of the country, wishing that they are always happy.

In her speech, President Sheinbaum concluded: “To all the girls and boys, I want to say that you are the present of Mexico.”
