
The Governor of the State of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, was the guest of honor at the inauguration of the facilities of the 462nd Company of the National Guard. The event was chaired by the Commander of the Federal National Guard, Hernán Cortés Hernández, and Brigadier General Jorge Enrique Martínez Medina, State Coordinator of the agency.
The new facilities aim to build the best and largest public security force in the history of Mexico, allowing for the accommodation of National Guard personnel. The goal is to guarantee safety and serve the population through proximity activities, maintaining a close and permanent contact with society to safeguard their integrity, property, and constitutional freedoms, contributing to an environment of justice and peace.
Martínez Medina highlighted the importance of the new facilities in strengthening and expanding the operational deployment of the National Guard. With personnel committed to their assigned tasks, the aim is to provide effective service to the Sinaloan society. The General emphasized the need for adequate equipment and facilities to facilitate the development of operational, administrative, and training activities.
The facilities include dormitories for male and female personnel, a dining room, training rooms, a treatment room, and parking. The governor and officials toured the new facilities to inspect their operation and scope. Martínez Medina thanked the collaboration and cooperation of the three levels of government in the construction of these facilities.
Various authorities were present at the event, such as Juan Reyes García, Chief of Staff of the Third Military Region, Crisóforo Martínez Parra, Territorial Coordinator of the Northwest Region of the National Guard, Porfirio Fuentes Vélez, Commander of the Ninth Military Zone, Saúl Hiram Bandala, Commander of the Eighth Naval Zone, among others. Troops of the National Guard and civil and military authorities also participated in the inauguration of the facilities.
