Mexican actor Edgar Ponce passed away on May 5, 2005, after suffering four heart attacks and several resuscitation attempts. The tragic incident took place a day after the cast of "Solo para mujeres" had a traffic accident while filming a commercial on motorcycles.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of that fateful event that changed the lives of Edgar Ponce and his colleagues from "Solo para mujeres." In this context, VIX will release a four-episode documentary on May 9, in which the founders of the show will come together to reminisce in detail about the most significant moments of the production, including the unfortunate death of Ponce during the motorcycle accident, in which he received the fatal blow.
One of the significant statements from the documentary is as follows: "This project gives us the opportunity to remember Edgar and the legacy he left in the entertainment industry. It was a difficult moment for all of us, but we also want to highlight the happy moments we shared and the talent of our dear friend."
