On TikTok, one of the most popular apps worldwide, a video showing an accident involving a mascot at a children's party has gone viral. Although the app is used by people of all ages, a considerable number of users are minors.
The video shows the moment when the mascot accidentally collides with a child during a celebration. As can be seen in the images, the animated character had poor visibility and did not notice the child's presence in its path when it arrived at the party.
Despite the original video being removed after accumulating millions of views on TikTok, it has been shared again on other platforms like Instagram and X. In the clip, one can see how the disguised worker collides with the child, who was close to being injured.
So far, the severity of the minor's injuries is unknown, and the exact location of the incident is unclear. The video has generated thousands of comments, some criticizing the situation and others expressing disbelief, such as "I worked two years with those costumes; there’s no suit you can wear that lets you see the kids."
After the accident, a woman quickly intervened and managed to protect the child, preventing the situation from worsening. Subsequently, the worker removed the mascot costume and realized the incident he had caused.
