Metro service suspension at key stations

The Metro director, Adrián Rubalcava, reported on the suspension of service at certain stations as a preventive measure after a train moved over an unidentified object between Oceanía and Deportivo Oceanía on Line B. After a thorough inspection, it was determined to maintain the temporary closure of the Deportivo Oceanía and Bosque de Aragón stations.

Provisional services between Buenavista and Oceanía, and between Villa de Aragón and Ciudad Azteca have been activated to ensure user mobility. Additionally, free transportation from the RTP and support from the Secretariat of Citizen Security and Protection are provided. User assistance personnel are available to provide information and assistance at the affected stations.

Although the incident did not cause any injuries, it created moments of tension among passengers, who were evacuated from the train during the inspection work. Witness testimonies mention that the train shook and stopped on an elevated stretch for approximately 25 minutes, causing concern among those present. Some users recorded video of the train's abnormal movement while it advanced.

Metro authorities have assured that they will continuously inform about the progress of the inspection work and have requested users' understanding regarding this situation.
