The Benito Juárez Mayor's Office commemorated Mother's Day by celebrating a special event in honor of more than 1,500 female workers in the district who perform a double role as mothers and employees. Mayor Luis Mendoza expressed his gratitude and recognition for the daily effort these women make in both their professional and personal lives, highlighting their importance in the development and functioning of the mayor's office. In his remarks, the mayor stated: "This mayor's office lives, works, and is the best in Mexico City thanks to you. I worked here before they were born; I have had to combine work with home, with children, it is an example for them, I have always instilled in them that they have to work, improve themselves". The event also served as a platform to reaffirm the administration's commitment to equality, respect, and recognition of women's work in public service. The importance of supporting and recognizing the work of mothers was emphasized, highlighting their fundamental role in society. Among the heartfelt words of Teresa Romero, from the Senior Citizen Programs area, is her testimony of combining office work with motherhood for 25 years. Additionally, the commitment, experience, and heart that working women have shown in difficult moments for the Benito Juárez Mayor's Office were praised. The mayor reiterated the importance of recognizing workers not just as employees, but as neighbors, friends, and pillars of the community. Nayrovis Rincón, who has worked in Community Participation for over 10 years, expressed her gratitude for the support received and mentioned that "we should feel the pride of being mothers".
