This weekend, Metallica's vocalist and guitarist James Hetfield visited Mexico. He attended Terranova Ranch, a specialized hunting establishment located in Sonora, an hour and a half from Ciudad Obregón International Airport.
Images shared on social media by those accompanying him show the 62-year-old musician, his son, and Mexican entertainment entrepreneurs posing alongside the carcasses of deer they hunted.
For example, Gilbran Kran Rosas, producer of The Black Corp and CEO of Plaza en Llamas MX, shared images from the hunting trip and thanked the Terranova Ranch team for the experience.
In turn, Terranova Ranch boasted about Hetfield's visit on its social media, as well as the fact that the vocalist ate Mexican dishes prepared by "Los Arbolitos de Cajeme".

While some users highlighted the musician's friendliness to Sonoran fans who encountered him at the airport, others have issued criticism regarding his passion for hunting.

The visit has generated divided opinions on digital platforms.
