The State Government coordinated medical transfers with the State of Mexico's 'Relámpagos' Unit, in collaboration with authorities from Mexico City and the State of Mexico, to ensure immediate attention to the most critical patients. At this moment, rescue maneuvers are underway to free the occupants who remain trapped inside the vehicle, while surveillance is maintained in the area to prevent new incidents. The number of victims could be updated as rescue and medical care operations progress. A bus overturned on the well-known 'Devil's Curve' of the Oaxtepec-Xochimilco road, leaving seven dead and 25 injured, including minors, according to state and municipal authorities. The accident occurred on Saturday morning when the bus driver, transporting passengers from Milpa Alta to Oaxtepec, lost control while taking the curve, causing the unit to roll over onto the side of the road. The vehicle was transporting people on an excursion from Mexico City to Morelos. Following the incident, municipal emergency services, Civil Protection elements, and the Morelos Red Cross delegation immediately responded to the scene to provide medical care, rescue trapped occupants, and secure the area.
