Escobedo Completes Street Reconstruction in Nueva Esperanza

The Escobedo municipality has completed the paving works in the Nueva Esperanza area. Mayor Andrés Mijes handed over a new road section and announced the reconstruction of the sports unit. The project is funded by property tax revenues.


Escobedo Completes Street Reconstruction in Nueva Esperanza

The government of Escobedo has completed asphalt reconstruction works in Colonia Nueva Esperanza, as part of its Comprehensive Paving Program for streets, avenues, and neighborhoods within the municipality. Before the residents of the western part of the entity, Mayor Andrés Mijes reaffirmed his commitment to working for the benefit of the citizens by applying the principles of the Mexico Plan, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. In addition to the asphalt paving works, a complete renovation of a public plaza was also carried out in the area, and they are already working on the remodeling of the Sports Unit. Mayor Andrés Mijes delivered the project aimed at improving urban mobility and indicated that the work is being done with resources from property tax payments, and the projects are a way to give back the citizens' contribution. "We come to work for the people who trust us, we want them to know that they will find our support in our projects, and it is part of the public policies of the 4T Northern region," said Mijes. He highlighted that as part of the comprehensive improvement, they are working on the complete remodeling of the Sports Unit and that the only thing they ask of the neighbors is to take care of it. Mijes and Martiniano Rueda, Secretary of Public Works, accompanied by the neighbors, proceeded to remove traffic lights for the delivery of Andrés Montoya Street, one of the main arteries with the highest traffic flow in Colonia Nueva Esperanza.
