Actor Jáuregui shared his thoughts on working on the telenovela 'Hermanas, un amor compartido' (Sisters, a Shared Love). He expressed feeling blessed to be part of a project that is being so well-received.
Within the plot, he plays Camilo Cué Sampedro, a character with different emotional layers whose construction required prior work with the directors and the creative team. Jáuregui explained that the process began weeks before filming started, with script readings, character analysis, and proposals to give him greater depth.
«When the character moves in environments that one does not know, it is necessary to investigate and immerse oneself to be able to give greater truth to the story,» he explained. Regarding his acting process, Jáuregui acknowledged that he always tries to incorporate personal elements when building a character, leaving a part of himself in each one.
In an interview with Publimetro, the actor shared that he joined this project thanks to an invitation from producer Silvia Cano, with whom he had worked previously. «This allows the audience to identify more with them,» he noted.
Finally, Jáuregui invited the public to follow the story, which promises constant twists and a dynamic narrative that keeps the audience expectant in every chapter. «I think each episode leaves you wanting to see more,» commented the actor, who hinted that there are still many surprises and dramatic moments to discover in the plot.
Where and When to Watch 'Hermanas, un amor compartido'? The telenovela airs from Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM on Las Estrellas, and is also available on the ViX platform, where viewers can catch up on the most recent episodes.
For Jáuregui, being part of this story has been a rewarding experience, both due to the complexity of his character and the public's acceptance. «The public has taken it very well. The ratings are incredible and that gives a lot of gratification,» he said. «Living experiences is fundamental for actors to enrich our work,» he affirmed. «To all characters I put things from my life. Actors need to live and absorb experiences to later be able to lend them to the characters.»
One of the elements that, according to the actor, makes the telenovela special is that it presents more human characters and moves away from the traditional archetypes of melodrama. This allows for a story with which the public can identify, addressing complex themes with sensitivity.
