Since Thursday, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded throughout Nuevo León. Despite the constant rain, Nuevo León's Civil Protection agency reported that the state's road network and highways are operating normally. No significant incidents or road closures have been reported.
According to the latest state authorities' report, the main arteries connecting the state capital to neighboring entities and the border remain open in both directions.
Towards Coahuila: Both the free and the toll highway Monterrey-Saltillo are operating without issues, as are the road to Monclova and Federal Highway 57.
Towards the border: The Monterrey-Reynosa (free and toll), Monterrey-Laredo (free and toll), as well as the roads to Colombia and Miguel Alemán, are operating under normal conditions.
Southern and peripheral areas: National Highway, the Northwest Bypass, and the road from Linares to San Roberto are also open to traffic.
To ensure the safety of motorists on wet pavement, Nuevo León Civil Protection units are conducting strategic patrols on different road sections. Authorities urge the population to drive with caution, respect speed limits, and stay informed about weather conditions through official channels.
Hail in Dr. Arroyo Civil Protection reported hail in the municipality of Doctor Arroyo, in southern Nuevo León. The phenomenon was recorded on Federal Highway 57 at the height of the Cruz Community. The ice-covered road provided a winter-like scene.
