The controversy surrounding Christian Nodal's music video for 'Un Vals' continues to escalate. It has now been revealed that the Aguilar family is allegedly upset by the media impact of the video and the comparisons involving Ángela Aguilar. It all started when social media users pointed out that the model in the video bore a strong resemblance to Cazzu and even to Ángela herself, sparking theories about a possible strategy behind the production. In this context, model Dagna Mata spoke about the situation and its impact on the singer: “I have supposedly been told that everything is getting out of control and that she is also taking it very badly.” She said the Aguilar family blamed Nodal because they did not understand the creative move. A journalist also suggested suspicions about the origin of the video's production: “They are starting to suspect that to save his career and make everyone 'shakira' his song, the Spanish producer's ploy backfired, and very badly, because Ángela is the one who loses the most in all this, disfigured and humiliated.” Director Juan Barbazan also explained: “Christian did not see her, and what is being said now about her resemblance to Cazzu was an oversight on our part.
