TV Azteca Denies Production of Gran Hermano

TV Azteca firmly confirmed that it will not produce a version of Gran Hermano, despite rumors circulating on social media about the possible realization of a reality show inspired by Big Brother. Although initially the content director of the television network, Adrián Ortega, had denied these rumors in an interview with journalist Joel O’Farril, the issue regained traction due to the success of La Casa de los Famosos México. However, in a new meeting with the media, Ortega reiterated that TV Azteca has no plans to carry out this project in the upcoming year.

In statements to the press, Adrián Ortega stated that he is unaware of the brand and reiterated that the television network will not produce Gran Hermano as rumored on social media. Additionally, he mentioned that they are working on another Endemol project for the network, of which he provided no further details. In this way, the speculation about TV Azteca's participation in the production of this reality show format was dispelled.

On the other hand, following the clarification that TV Azteca will not be responsible for carrying out a new version of Gran Hermano, the possibility was mentioned that Imagen Televisión might be in charge of this project. However, the hosts of Fórmula Espectacular pointed out that this television network would not have the necessary resources to develop a program of the magnitude of Gran Hermano or La Casa de los Famosos México. It was emphasized that this type of production requires significant investment for its realization.

So far, there is no information about whether another version of Gran Hermano will take place in Mexico, which would generate direct competition with La Casa de los Famosos México from Televisa. Rumors and speculations about the arrival of this reality show in 2025 remain uncertain and without official confirmation.
