"Until I Find You" is a proposal for physical theater that uses minimalist, sound, and light design to create an impactful emotional journey. Vicky Araico, one of the creators, points out that the story does not focus on the missing girl, but rather on the impact of the disappearance on those who remain. The audience will connect with the story of a family searching for a loved one, experiencing the pain and hope illustrated in the play.

Author Vicky Araico expresses that the suffering of the families of the disappeared is not exclusive to them, but rather a collective pain that involves society as a whole. According to Araico, theater can help to understand and empathize with these experiences of shared pain, showing that the wound of one community member belongs to all of us.

"Until I Find You" is a powerful and delicate scenic experience that seeks to raise awareness and give voice to a topic that affects many people in Mexico. The play, written by Vicky Araico and Nir Paldi, co-produced by Teatro UNAM, Ad Infinitum, and El Ingenio del Caldero, presents itself as a theatrical monologue that addresses the issue of the disappearance of people from the perspective of families who continue to search tirelessly.

The story centers on Alma, a mother whose life is transformed in her struggle to find her missing daughter. The play invites reflection on the pain of those who continue to search for their missing loved ones. "We have a lot of respect for the topic and the pain these families experience, it's terrible, and that's why we reflected for a long time on how to approach it and talk about it," says Vicky Araico about the sensitivity with which the topic was treated in the play.
