RBD Faces Internal Strife Amid Reunion

The reunion of the iconic Latin music group RBD has been marked by controversies and internal disagreements, creating a distance among its members. Despite having ended over 15 years ago, this unprecedented separation in the group's history has come to light due to recent controversies, despite the conclusion of the legal case related to resource diversion and fraud.

In this context, Christopher Uckermann, Dulce María, and Christian Chávez expressed their anger towards Anahí for publicly congratulating their former manager Guillermo Rosas, who has been accused of economic embezzlement during a group tour. Anahí defended herself by arguing the independence of her working relationship with Rosas from her commitment to RBD. However, these differences have caused tensions that affect the possibility of a previously announced second tour.

In an interview for the program “Montse & Joe,” Christopher revealed that he maintains contact with two former RBD members, Christian Chávez and Maite Perroni. He stated: “It’s not the same to step down from a mechanism as big as RBD, and it doesn’t mean that necessarily all that audience will follow you (…) Mai and Christian are the ones I’ve seen.” Meanwhile, the future of the band and the hope of returning to the stage still seem uncertain, leaving fans waiting for a possible resolution of these internal differences.
