The Tlalpan Mayor's Office has signed a collaboration agreement with Six Flags Mexico to address the traffic issues around the amusement park located on the Picacho-Ajusco road. This initiative is part of the efforts of the newly established Mobility Cabinet of the Mayor's Office, dedicated to resolving the most urgent traffic challenges in the region.

Among the measures agreed upon with Six Flags are the optimization of signage at the entrances, the relocation of barriers to improve traffic flow, the reinforcement of road safety with designated personnel during peak times, the opening of additional lanes by removing obstacles at the return in front of the park, and constant communication regarding the occupancy status of parking lots.

These measures will complement the traffic operations that the Mayor's Office will implement to prevent irregular parking, one of the main causes of congestion in the area. The strategy of the Mobility Cabinet led by Mayor Gaby Osorio aims to address high-congestion areas, such as Picacho-Ajusco, with immediate and effective solutions, including citizen participation in the planning of key projects.

"The Mobility Cabinet will allow direct participation of citizens in decision-making and in the planning of key projects, transforming mobility in our area," mentioned Mayor Osorio. Among the immediate actions of the Cabinet are operations in the Hospital Zone and in areas with deficiencies in public transport.
