The tequila brand Don Julio will launch the experience "Eternos por Amor" on November 2 to commemorate the Day of the Dead. Ana Lizarraga, Director of Public Relations at Diageo Mexico, highlights that this initiative aims to honor the Mexican tradition of remembering and paying tribute to deceased loved ones.
Under the direction of renowned Mexican visual artist Betsabeé Romero, the experience will offer attendees the opportunity to connect with the culture of the Day of the Dead through an immersive altar and the possibility to personalize bottles. The goal is to celebrate the legacy and love of those who are no longer present, keeping their memory alive.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a special selection of cocktails designed in collaboration with Handshake, recognized as the best bar in North America. These cocktails, inspired by Mexican traditions, have been created specifically for this unique occasion.
The experience will culminate in an emotional moment where, thanks to artificial intelligence technology, attendees will be able to symbolically share with their deceased loved ones. This special connection aims to honor the memory of those who remain present in the hearts of Mexicans through offerings and memories that transcend time.
