The television station Televisa, from San Ángel, premiered the show "Soltero Cotizado" with Nicola Porcella on Channel 5 last Monday, October 28. The program, hosted by Montserrat Oliver, aims to help Nicola find a partner, but it did not achieve the expected audience levels. According to entertainment commentator Álex Kaffie, despite the influencer's popularity on social media, the show did not stand out and was surpassed by a rerun of "Me Caigo de Risa".
The first episode of "Soltero Cotizado" only received 3.7 audience points, a low figure for the Channel 5 time slot. In contrast, the rerun of "Me Caigo de Risa" with Lucero and Lucero Mijares achieved 9 rating points, which represents a 59% decrease in audience compared to the previous program.
Despite the extensive promotion carried out by Televisa during its programming, including "La Casa de los Famosos México 2", the performance of "Soltero Cotizado" did not meet expectations. The show was recorded in Colombia and its main objective is to help Nicola Porcella find love after seven years without a formal relationship, although not all participants attended for that reason.
In addition to the contestants interested in winning Nicola's heart, the program also features 'imposters' who are looking to win a prize of 1 million pesos if they manage to deceive the Peruvian and be chosen by him.
