Three individuals were caught with marijuana, crystal doses, two cell phones, and a vehicle after authorities followed them due to an attempted robbery at a commercial establishment in Parque Delta, Mexico City. Witnesses reported that this would be the third occasion in three weeks that attempts to rob Bizarro jewelries have occurred in the area.
During the latest attempt, workers at the jewelry store noticed the unusual behavior of three individuals and activated the security alarm. The robbers fled upon hearing the alert and have not yet been captured. Members of the Mexico City Security Secretariat were deployed in the area to initiate the pertinent investigations.
This would be the third attempted robbery at Bizarro jewelries in recent weeks. On August 20, a robbery occurred at the Bo&Co jewelry store in the same shopping center, where two individuals threatened staff with firearms and stole displayed products. On that occasion, two suspected robbers were detained, one of whom was a minor.
Previously, two attempted robberies were reported at Bizarro jewelries in Plaza Cosmopol and Portal San Ángel. In both cases, the robbers tried to break the display cases with tools and escaped without committing the robbery. In one of the cases, it was mentioned that the suspects fled on a gray motorcycle with the help of a third party.
So far, local authorities have not provided further details about the incidents or communicated the whereabouts of the individuals involved in these attempted robberies. Social media users have played a key role in disseminating information about these criminal acts in the Parque Delta area.
