World Kindness Day: Acts of Generosity

World Kindness Day is celebrated every November 13 to remind us of the importance of acts of generosity, empathy, and solidarity in our lives. This celebration invites us to reflect on our impact on the world and to take concrete actions to build a kinder and more compassionate future. Although the idea of celebrating kindness is as old as humanity itself, the formal celebration of World Kindness Day emerged in 1998 thanks to the World Kindness Movement (WKM) based in Tokyo, Japan.

As part of a global campaign aimed at encouraging acts of kindness, Krispy Kreme will commemorate World Kindness Day by giving away two original glazed donuts for free to all its customers on November 13. The initiative aims to inspire people to share a moment of kindness, whether by enjoying the donut themselves or sharing it with someone.

Dave Skena, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme, mentioned: "World Kindness Day is both a reminder and a call to action. We are happy to do our part inspiring and enabling that around the world." With a presence in more than 40 countries, Krispy Kreme joins the global celebration promoting acts of kindness that can have a positive and multiplying effect on society.

Every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to transform someone's day and create a ripple effect of love and hope in the world. We can all make a positive difference in the lives of others through small acts of kindness. It is in everyday life where kindness can transcend and generate a significant impact on society.
