For the premiere of the movie "Wicked" in Mexico, which took place on Monday, November 11, the main actors Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Jonathan Bailey were present. Danna and Ceci de la Cueva, who are dubbing in Latin American Spanish, were invited to the event, as well as popular bloggers for the film's promotion on their social media.
Among the famous digital personalities present at the event were Kuno, La Divaza, and Ricardo Peralta, the latter of whom was prominently featured for his appearance at the Auditorio Nacional, where the film premiere took place. On the red carpet, Ricardo Peralta, a former contestant of La Casa de los Famosos México, was overwhelmed with frenzy.
Through his Instagram account, Ricardo Peralta shared several stories in which he mentioned that he felt a breach of decorum due to the event's occurrence at the "Wicked" premiere and stated in his statement that Ariana Grande, who came to see it, does not support mischief.
After this, Polo Morín, an actor, joined the defense of the blogger, noting that despite the multitude of errors in Ricardo's behavior, he did not deserve being Oscar-nominated, directed at his side. "I understand that #RicardoPeralta made many mistakes in his statements and actions... But calling him Oscar-nominated and starting to make someone feel bad about us will never be justified from my point of view. Bullying and cyberbullying are never justified," Polo wrote.
In response to reminders of his followers about what Ricardo did in the video, in which he was sarcastic towards the main character Ariana Grande, Polo wrote that "I simply believe that 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth... and the world will become blind and toothless.'" Polo added that Ricardo is protected and that he and his team themselves turned to him.
"I was bullied, and he sent his people to bully me many years ago, and I talked to him and his team personally... I don't say that he is right, I just don't think the reason will cure someone else's pain... It just leaves an even bigger wound in general," Polo concluded.
