This will cause low temperatures during the early morning and dawn in regions of Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
According to the weather forecasts of the National Water Commission (Conagua), it is expected that in the early hours of Tuesday, temperatures will range between 0 and 5 degrees in Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Morelos, Chiapas, and the sierras of Sinaloa and Nayarit. In other areas such as Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Veracruz, and Oaxaca, the thermometer will register between -5 and 0 degrees with a possibility of frost.
Although rain is expected in some states like Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Nuevo León, on this occasion the State of Mexico and Mexico City will not be affected by precipitation. However, winds of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour are forecasted, with gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in several entities of the country.
Conagua predicts that the lowest temperatures will be recorded in the morning in mountainous areas of Chihuahua with -15 degrees and frost, from -15 to -10 degrees with frost in mountainous areas of Baja California and Durango. In states like Sonora, Coahuila, and Nuevo León, temperatures of -10 to -5 degrees with frost are expected.
Additionally, a warm environment is anticipated during the morning and night of Tuesday in the sierras of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, and Zacatecas, being cold to very cold in areas of the northwest, east, center, and southeast of the country. There is also a forecast for the possibility of snow or sleet in some areas of Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas, as well as freezing rain in other states like Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Puebla, and Veracruz.
