Classes Continue Online in Querétaro Due to Winter Cold

The Basic Education Service Unit in the State of Querétaro (USEBEQ) reported that classes will continue to be held remotely on Thursday, January 23, in public basic education schools in several municipalities. These include Arroyo Seco, Jalpan de Serra, Landa de Matamoros, and Pinal de Amoles. This preventive measure also extends to the schools in Peñamiller, San Joaquín, Cadereyta de Montes, and Amealco de Bonfil, strengthening the protection of the health of school communities during the winter season.

In the rest of the municipalities in Querétaro, USEBEQ recommends that parents stay alert to weather conditions and follow official guidelines to protect students from low temperatures. The priority of the educational authority is to ensure the safety and well-being of minors, as well as the teaching staff. Therefore, it is urged to avoid drastic temperature changes, provide appropriate clothing for the cold, and, in case of respiratory illness symptoms, avoid attending school and visit a doctor.
