120th Anniversary of Mexico General Hospital Celebrated

On the occasion of its 120th anniversary, a commemorative bill has been launched by the National Lottery.

The image of the commemorative bill features a fragment of the mural "Pillars of the Soul," whose first brushstrokes were made by patients and staff of the hospital. This work has become a reflection of the history and vocation of the General Hospital of Mexico, highlighting the importance of life, health, and well-being in each of its representations.

The official unveiling of the commemorative bill will take place on February 5, the exact date of the hospital's anniversary. The launch is part of the celebrations that will culminate in a draw on February 11, which can be followed live through the YouTube channel of Traditional Draws of the National Lottery.

The commemorative bill aims to pay homage to the legacy of 120 years of history of the General Hospital of Mexico, highlighting its role as a pillar in the Mexican health system. Since its foundation in 1905, the hospital has been fundamental to the well-being of the population, giving rise to health institutions and training professionals in the medical-surgical field.

The National Lottery will sell three million six hundred thousand commemorative bills at more than 11 thousand distribution points throughout Mexico, with a Grand Prize of $21 million pesos and a total prize pool of $66 million pesos. This initiative highlights the commitment and significance of the General Hospital of Mexico in the care and attention to the health of the Mexican population.
