
Federal Forces made a significant blow to drug trafficking by locating and securing three marijuana plantations in the town of Limoncito, Sinaloa. The operation was carried out jointly by elements from the Secretariat of the Navy, the National Defense, the National Guard, the Attorney General's Office, the Attorney General's Office of Sinaloa, and the State Public Security Secretariat.
During the operations, which involved aerial overflights and ground patrols in the area, three marijuana plantations of different sizes were discovered. The first measured 1,710 square meters, from which 5,464 kilograms of the substance were eradicated. In a second action, another plantation of 35 square meters was found, where 84 kilograms of marijuana were eradicated. Finally, a third plantation of 1,500 square meters was located, from which 6,000 kilograms of the same drug were seized.
In total, authorities located 3,245 square meters of plantations and eradicated a total of 11,548 kilograms of marijuana in these actions. Following this significant discovery, it was reported that it has been reported to the relevant authorities for the necessary investigations as established by law.
