Today No Circulation Will Function in CDMX and State of Mexico

Due to the Hoy No Circula program in 18 municipalities adjacent to the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City, all vehicles with green stickers, plate endings 1 and 2, and that carry hologram 1 or 2 must remain stored this Thursday, February 20.

Regarding the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula for this Thursday, the answer is no. The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for poor air quality nor activated an environmental contingency, as ozone particles do not pose problems at this time. The measure is implemented only in case of an environmental contingency to reduce pollution.

Vehicles that can circulate this Thursday, February 20, include electric and hybrid cars, as well as vehicles with ecological license plates or exempt hologram type. Vehicles with hologram "00" or "0," vehicles used by health sector workers with a valid credential, ambulances, school and personnel transport vehicles, as well as those intended for funeral processions and funeral services with a valid hologram, can also circulate.

Additionally, vehicles for persons with disabilities that have the Permit to exempt Hoy No Circula, public passenger and tourism service vehicles that comply with current verification regulations, motorcycles or cars with a valid Tourist Pass or permit granted by the Ministry of the Environment, and cars with pink, blue, yellow, and red stickers can also circulate without restrictions.
