Renata del Castillo's illness, known for her participation in the series 'Como dice el dicho', originated from undiagnosed cervical cancer, as she did not have a Pap smear during the year of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In her Instagram stories, the 'Control Z' actress shared that she went to the hospital due to intense pain: "I am in the hospital in emergency because I have had a super intense pain in my shoulder blades since yesterday, and it has now spread to my arm." She added that the oncologist advised her to seek immunotherapy, which she finally received on Tuesday.
She mentioned having suffered a pre-infarction and asked her followers to pray for her: "I had a pre-infarction, so they are going to run all the tests, asking God that everything goes well; pray for me, and here we are, hospitalized in the hospital." The recognized actress, who has participated in productions from Televisa, TV Azteca, and Netflix, informed her social media followers about her health situation.
