Carlos Covarrubias Méndez is a graduate in Health Promotion and Education from the Open and Distance University of Mexico (UnADM) with a focus on social justice. He currently works as a Sexual Health advisor at Inspira Cambio, A.C., where he has specialized in sexuality, pleasurable care, and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), with three years of experience in community counseling.
During his time at Inspira Cambio, he has stood out for his commitment to the wellbeing of the community, being a co-author of the new model of Counseling in Pleasurable Care. Covarrubias Méndez joined the organization in 2021 and has since worked to provide specialized counseling on issues of sexuality and preventive health.
In addition to his academic training, Carlos has enhanced his professional profile with a diploma in thanatology and a course in harm reduction. His passion for promoting health and education on wellbeing topics has made him a reference in the field of sexual health, highlighting his inclusive approach and commitment to social justice.
