
State and municipal authorities in Nuevo León received multiple reports from citizens alerting about the perception of gas odors in various municipalities of the entity. The complaints originated from areas such as Cadereyta, Juárez, Guadalupe, Monterrey, San Pedro, and Santa Catarina, between 5:50 PM and 9:00 PM.
In response to this situation, Civil Protection units carried out inspection tours in various neighborhoods of Juárez, Guadalupe, Monterrey, and San Pedro. Reports from the population prompted authorities to mobilize to investigate the source of the reported odors.
"Reports indicated the perception of gas odors in the environment," explained Civil Protection of Nuevo León. Despite the efforts made, the source of the odors in question could not be identified, as they eventually dissipated over time.
In Guadalupe, some of the areas affected by these complaints were Gardenias, Zertuche, Azteca, San Rafael, Libertad, Rafael Ramírez, San Cristóbal, Paseo de Guadalupe, and Valles de Guadalupe. Meanwhile, in Monterrey, reports came from Chepevera and Asarco; and in San Pedro, from Ampliación Valle Oriente, Del Valle, and other sectors like Monte Verde, San Francisco, Villas de la Hacienda 1, Privada Sierra Morena, Alborada, and Bosques del Seminario.
