
The Vice Attorney General's Office in Specialized Investigation of Social Coordination and the Secretary of Public Security (SSP) of the state of Jalisco have held a working meeting to achieve better coordination in the reception of detainees and investigative actions related to animal abuse and environmental issues. In this meeting, a permanent coordination was established between the Public Security Secretariat and the Vice Attorney General's Office to expedite the request for command and guidance. In addition, it was agreed that the Various Crimes Directorate attached to the Vice Attorney General's Office would continue with the cases of animal cruelty and environmental crimes.
Among the agreements reached in the working meeting, the coordination of the first responder with their legal advisor, the immediate call to the Public Ministry for the request for command and guidance, the designation of the same first responder to carry out the detention, and the reduction of the time in the delivery of services to obtain favorable results were highlighted.
Various authorities participated in the meeting, such as Juan Pablo Hernández González, Secretary of Public Security of the State; Omar García López, General Operational Director of the State Road Police; Cuauhtémoc David Hernández Torres, Chief Inspector of Traffic; Francisco Javier Reyes Pérez, Chief Commissioner of the State Police, and Joel Corona Durán, Director of Support and Legal Technical Follow-up of the State Security Secretariat. The main objective of this meeting was to strengthen cooperation between institutions to achieve positive results in joint work and contribute to building a safer and fairer society.
