Search collectives in Jalisco have disseminated various evidence and objects found on the Izaguirre ranch in Teuchitlán. The Guerreros Buscadores presented a voter ID with a photograph, supposedly of Edgar Fabián Santamaría Solís, and other items such as keychains and backpacks. Meanwhile, the Madres Buscadoras showed videos of more than 400 shoes and clothing items, as well as notebooks with nicknames and references to criminal groups, including the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
In the midst of these findings, Madres Buscadoras de Jalisco shared a series of recommendations on social media for those who believe they recognize their missing relatives. They urged them to initiate legal processes for verification, reminding them of the importance of carrying the assigned case number at the time of filing the report. They also emphasized the need to process the missing person report if it does not exist.
The collectives highlighted that the information shared on social media is the only available, as it is not possible to return to the site secured by authorities. They expressed solidarity with the families in their pain and desperation, in addition to spreading the image of a locket with the photograph of 'La China', which could confirm her presence at the site.
Relatives of the missing have begun to identify clothing and objects thanks to the publications made. Eduardo Lerma Nito, missing since February 2024, was recognized from a letter written by him and addressed to his partner. Myriam Hernández also identified the clothing and remains of 'La China', reflecting the emotion of the discovery.
Jalisco authorities have been alerted about these findings, and it is expected that investigations will continue to clarify the facts and provide justice to the families of the missing persons.
