The Tlalpan mayor's office continues to implement the program 'Our Town is Transforming' in different communities, aiming to address the specific needs of each one. In San Pedro Mártir, various actions were carried out such as indigenous consultation, cleaning campaigns, monitoring of the Participatory Budget, responding to citizen requests, and nighttime security rounds.

As part of these interventions, the Wellbeing Fair and the Mayor's Assembly were held at the San Pedro Mártir Kiosk, where community services, advice, and cultural activities were provided. Mayor Gabriela Osorio highlighted the importance of citizen participation in the transformation of communities, emphasizing the installation of streetlights, recovery of public spaces, and improvement in urban services.

The program 'Our Town-Colony is Transforming' seeks to improve infrastructure, security, public spaces, and citizen participation in each neighborhood and town of Tlalpan. Through diagnostics and neighborhood participation, sustainable changes are sought to enhance the quality of life in the communities. After being implemented in other areas, the program reached San Pedro Mártir with key actions in different areas.

Regarding the results of the intervention in San Pedro Mártir, cleaning work, tree trimming, maintenance of streetlights, road marking, and other actions were carried out to improve the infrastructure and urban services. Regarding safety and urban order, measures such as security meetings, removal of junk vehicles, peace campaigns, and operations to clear public thoroughfares were implemented.

Additionally, the program promotes citizen participation and community strengthening, encouraging neighborhood organization and the recovery of the sense of community. The importance of joint efforts between government and citizens to achieve these objectives is emphasized.
