Affirm the truth of your I AM to bring the full virtues of God into your life. From the basis of metaphysics, the knowledge of I AM is, in its simplest essence, a living affirmation; it is how you name yourself, recognize yourself, and declare yourself to life. There exists a silent, powerful, and always available key for each of us: the sacred I AM. But nothing could be further from the truth! When you, in the middle of an ordinary day, consciously decide to say “I AM patience” instead of reacting; “I AM understanding” instead of judging; “I AM strength” instead of giving up, something begins to change, little by little, but notably. That is why the true use of I AM is intimately linked to virtue. And from there, life ceases to be merely something that happens, to become something that is created with intention. Use it with love. You are using a golden key. And another, expansive, creative, luminous: “I AM worthy”, “I AM love”, “I AM peace”, “I AM abundance”. Without awakening to spiritual consciousness, the affirmation of the divine in us: inner peace, harmony, good relationships, wealth, etc. One, limited, unconscious, repetitive: “I am incapable”, “I am weak”, “I am insufficient”. It is, literally, the code by which you create your experience from the inside out, so it is not something abstract or distant. When you say and feel “I AM”, you are not uttering just any phrase. And remember: you hold in your words and in how you feel a golden key. And this is where the teaching becomes very practical. Because it is not necessary to retreat from the world or transform into something unattainable. I AM cannot be sustained in falsehood without generating consequences. When you affirm negatively towards others or yourself, that echo returns. They seem like a distant ideal, even a fantasy, or something reserved for a few. You are opening a door. The great masters and mistresses, pioneers in the studies and practices of metaphysics, have insisted on this power that places the human being as one with God. When you consciously say “I AM”, you are not speaking from the character you have built —the one that changes according to the environment, social, political, or religious beliefs—, but from the divine spark that inhabits your interior. It is then understood that there are two ways to inhabit that “I AM”. Not as a punishment, but as a reflection. It is said that every affirmation is a seed, and the ground where it falls is your own consciousness. Because everything that comes out of you inevitably passes through you first. It is enough to observe what you affirm about yourself throughout the day. Awakening to the notion that being a daughter or son of the Creator is not a symbolic idea, but a living condition, returns us to the dignity by the simple fact of being here, and from there, to be receptacles of what by this simple but profound nature corresponds to us: a beautiful, elevated, kind, creative, and prosperous life. When you have a moment of awareness —even if brief—, stop. You cannot separate from it. From I AM, there is no getting without giving, or harvesting something that is not cultivated. A truth that has always been present then begins to be glimpsed: you are not separate from the Divine. You are an expression of it. Use it with truth. Breathe.
