The famous Mexican singer Luis Miguel is currently in a delicate state of pneumonia, presumably due to COVID-19, which forces him to cancel five concerts he had planned. In a statement, it was reported that tickets purchased for these dates will be valid for the corresponding rescheduling.
The canceled concerts were scheduled for October 24 in Mexico City, October 27 in Pachuca, October 28 in Mexico City, October 29 in Querétaro, and October 31 in Irapuato, although new dates for these events have yet to be announced. The possible cancellation of these concerts could mean a considerable economic loss for the renowned singer born in Puerto Rico.
According to reports from journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante, Luis Miguel earns about 2 million dollars per performance, which is equivalent to about 39 million Mexican pesos per concert. If they cannot be rescheduled, it is estimated that the singer could lose around 200 million pesos.
Through a story on his Instagram account, Luis Miguel expressed: 'We thank you in advance for your support and understanding.' Despite the difficulties, it is expected that a space can be found in the artist's busy schedule to reschedule the concerts affected by his illness.
