Registration Ongoing for Health Program in Nuevo León

Three days before the closing of the registration process for healthcare professionals in Nuevo León who wish to be part of the Casa por Casa Health program, 550 people have already registered, out of an estimated target of 635, according to Genaro Rodríguez, delegate of Well-being in the entity. Rodríguez mentioned that the call remains open, extending the invitation for more healthcare personnel to register before the evaluation that will take place in December, followed by distribution.

Regarding the evaluation and distribution, Genaro Rodríguez indicated that it will be carried out directly by the Secretariat of Well-being and the Mexican Social Security Institute in Mexico City, with the aim of verifying the studies of those registered and ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge in health issues. He highlighted that as of Saturday, 550 healthcare professionals have signed up in Nuevo León, approaching the established target.

According to Rodríguez, no applications have been rejected so far because the registration process has not yet concluded. In addition, he mentioned that registration for the Women’s Well-being Pension in Nuevo León is currently taking place during November, aimed at women aged 63 to 64 years and women aged 60 to 64 years residing in municipalities with a high indigenous or Afro-Mexican population.

This pension seeks to acknowledge the work of Mexican women throughout their lives and contribute to their economic independence. More than 36,090 women in Nuevo León have already registered at the modules set up in the municipalities. According to the delegate, this is a significant step in recognizing the contribution of women to society, and registration will remain open until November 30, with the expectation that by 2025 the beneficiaries will receive the corresponding pension.
