"Sale el Sol," the morning program of Imagen Televisión, faces a ratings crisis, being surpassed by reruns of older shows like "Rocío a tu lado." Since the departure of Dio Lluberes and the return of Alejandra Luck, internal changes have occurred in the program.
According to entertainment journalist Flor Rubio, it is currently unclear who has control over the program. While other shows like "Hoy" or "Venga la Alegría" have clearly responsible figures, in "Sale el Sol," orders seem to divide between Adrián Patiño and Alejandra Luck, with the latter in charge of the program's content.
Alejandra Luck has chosen to revive old sections and collaborators of the program, sidelining the creation of new content. One of the sections that has returned is "Enfrentados," where the hosts conduct direct interviews with guests. However, the lack of significance in some segments, such as the one with Ernesto Laguardia, has generated criticism for not addressing sensitive topics adequately.
The current situation is compounded by a lawsuit from Andrés Tovar against Imagen Televisión over the ownership of the name "Sale el Sol" and a debt of 480 hours of production. Meanwhile, amidst these internal conflicts, the program struggles to regain its audience and remain relevant in the current television landscape.
