
The municipal government of Escobedo recognized more than 140 police officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security for their daily dedication to the benefit of citizens. At a ceremony led by Mayor Andrés Mijes, along with Municipal Treasurer Jaime Zurricanday and Captain Marco Antonio Zavala, Secretary of Citizen Security, the outstanding work of Proxpol members in preserving order and peace in the communities was highlighted.
Mijes emphasized that security is one of the fundamental pillars in the agenda of the municipal administration, so it is crucial to acknowledge the efforts of those responsible for ensuring the well-being of Escobedo. The mayor stressed that the recognition of police officers serves as an incentive for them to continue performing their duties exemplarily, day by day.
In his words, Mijes expressed pride in the local police's work, highlighting their commitment on the front lines of defense and their bravery in facing challenges for the safety of the municipality. He assured that the protection of the agents is paramount, as by safeguarding them, they are protecting all citizens of Escobedo.
During the event, 80 police officers who demonstrated legality, professionalism, honesty, efficiency, and respect for human rights in their duties between October and December of last year were recognized. Additionally, 68 members were distinguished for their outstanding careers in the municipal police corporation.
The commitment of the municipal government of Escobedo to combat insecurity is reflected in the investment in innovative strategies, such as enhancing the equipment of the Secretariat of Citizen Security with more patrols and state-of-the-art technology. Escobedo is consolidating itself as a city of courage, discipline, and determination in the fight for a safe and harmonious environment for its inhabitants.
