Rosa Icela Rodríguez, head of the Secretariat of Government (Segob), offered a message of support to the compatriots returning to Mexico from the United States during the morning conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. As part of the "Mexico Embraces You" program, Rodríguez assured citizens that they are not alone and that the country awaits them with open arms.
In this regard, a series of Well-being programs aimed at Mexicans returning from the United States were presented, covering various areas and sectors of the population. Among the mentioned programs are aids for the elderly, people with disabilities, children, as well as the Sembrando Vida and Emergencia programs, aimed at promoting the well-being and integration of repatriated individuals.
Additionally, initiatives such as Women Well-being, Health House by House, the Fund for Contributions to Social Infrastructure (FAIS), Youth Building the Future, and the Benito Juárez Universities program, among others, were highlighted. These programs seek to provide comprehensive support to compatriots returning to the country, offering opportunities for development, education, health, and general well-being.
In Rodríguez's words: "As the Migrant Anthem says: green, white, red, I carry it in my veins and we were born with a legacy of greatness." This message reflects the importance of welcoming compatriots, recognizing their contribution to the greatness of Mexico and ensuring their integration and well-being upon their return to the country.
