The municipal president of El Marqués, Rodrigo Monsalvo Castelán, has given instructions to the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) to initiate a security reinforcement plan in the area, focusing on proximity and advanced technology. The intention is to strengthen the operational capacity of the municipal police with better-trained officers to address security challenges.
During the first 100 days of his administration, actions have been implemented to improve emergency response and optimize police presence throughout the territory. In this regard, 9 firearms and 67 useful cartridges have been secured, and investment has been made in the training of police officers at the Training, Formation, and Research Center for Security in the state of Querétaro.
Currently, 40 candidates are being evaluated in the initial training process as proximity police officers. There has been an investment in both human and technological resources to prevent and respond to crime and build a closer and more trusting relationship between security forces and the municipality's residents.
The incorporation of 9 new proximity police officers is part of the actions taken by the municipal government to strengthen the relationship with the community and improve crime prevention. Additionally, in collaboration with various security institutions from the three levels of government, arrests have been made of individuals linked to various crimes, recovering 72 vehicles with active theft reports.
Rodrigo Monsalvo has expressed his commitment to continue working so that security remains a permanent priority during his term. In total, 22 patrol cars and 9 motorcycle patrols have been added to the corporation, representing a significant advancement in response capacity to any incident.
