In her statements, Minister Esquivel recalled that the Electoral Tribunal specified that it is the final instance in electoral matters related to the Judiciary. She confirmed that the Upper Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal has already ordered the election to be held, with the prior selection of candidates and the start of the campaign process, which will take place in the months of April and May. Esquivel emphasized that there is no possibility of halting the election, which was established in the reform to the Judiciary, approved by a qualified majority in both chambers and ratified by the majority of state congresses.
