'Enamorándonos' Cancelled on Valentine's Day

'Enamorándonos', the popular dating show, will air its final episode on February 14, after poor ratings under Imagen Televisión, which acquired the rights. The decision was due to disappointing audience numbers, despite previous success on TV Azteca.

'Enamorándonos' Cancelled on Valentine's Day

The dating show 'Enamorándonos' has gone off the air. Last June, Imagen Televisión acquired the license to produce this successful program that was originally broadcast on TV Azteca under the direction of Magda Rodríguez. With an audience that reached over 2 million viewers, the management led by Dio Lluberes acquired the rights to launch a new version of the show. Despite this new edition being hosted by Gaby Ramírez and Mauricio Mancera, the audience did not respond as expected, leading the television network to decide to cancel the program.

According to Álex Kaffie, a recognized entertainment commentator, Imagen Televisión decided to take 'Enamorándonos' off the air due to the negative results it was obtaining. Although the format license had been acquired for a year, it was decided to expedite the show's end due to financial issues. Efforts were made to cut costs by eliminating the presence of the audience that attended the recordings and received a salary, but this measure was not enough to keep the program on the air.

The last episode of 'Enamorándonos' is scheduled for February 14, ironically coinciding with Valentine's Day. Therefore, the program has only one week left of broadcasts before its final cancellation. The name of the show that will occupy the space left by 'Enamorándonos' has not been announced. Gaby Ramírez, who left her position at Multimedios to join Imagen Televisión as a star host, will again be without a job following the cancellation of the program.
