Crisis of Governance in Sinaloa

The situation in Sinaloa worsens under the government of Rubén Rocha, who faces a growing public demand for his resignation due to the increase in violence and protests. The proposal for revocation of mandate has been criticized as a distraction. The lack of control and decisions from the federal government add pressure to a state in crisis.

Crisis of Governance in Sinaloa

A farce is being mounted at the expense of citizenship in Sinaloa with the trick of floating the possibility of revoking the mandate of Governor Rubén Rocha. Since last July, the state has faced governance problems, despite the presence of the National Guard led by Harfuch. Following tragic events, such as the murder of two children and their father, protests demanding Rocha's resignation have arisen.

In the midst of the violence crisis affecting Sinaloa, where drug trafficking has left a deep mark, the discussion about revoking the mandate is presented as a smokescreen to divert attention from the reality suffered by the population. Rocha acts out of arrogance and seeks to save himself instead of fulfilling his promise to protect his fellow citizens.

Rocha's credibility has completely evaporated, especially after events like the assassination of an elected deputy at a meeting he was invited to. Despite the efforts of the authorities, including the presence of Omar García Harfuch in Sinaloa, Rocha has failed to regain control of the state, leading to a constant deterioration of security and public trust.

In this context, the possible revocation of the mandate is being proposed as a political trap by Morena, Rocha's party, which seeks to maintain power at any cost. Despite the serious situation in Sinaloa, where normality is sorely lacking, the possibility of a referendum is clouded by the lack of guarantees and political manipulation.

Sinaloan society finds itself caught in a mockery, orchestrated by Rocha and his followers who try to evade the revocation of his mandate using political tricks. In this situation, citizens face significant risk by taking to the streets to demand real change in government. Morena, for its part, seems willing to go to any lengths to maintain political control, even if that implies manipulating existing legislation for its benefit.
