The publication that has caused a stir has not deterred Marcelo Ebrard from his presidential campaign. However, before this incident, lawyer Alejandro Pascal mentions that journalist Daniel Lizárraga, who at that time was responsible for investigations for journalist Carmen Aristegui and editor of the "white house" report, approached him to inform him about his work related to the Superhighway for a book.

Pascal claims that he received a similar offer to that which Miguel Badillo later obtained. However, he had not heard from Lizárraga until recently, when he sought an interview with Ebrard and accused him without evidence of leaking details about his house in Lomas de Chapultepec to Aristegui's investigation team.

The book, which is generating anticipation, revisits an investigation carried out by the Financial Intelligence Unit during Peña Nieto's government in 2023, published by the magazine Contralínea. This work, known as the "white house," had a significant impact on public opinion.

The 288-page work focuses on alleged irregularities surrounding the construction of the Superhighway during Ebrard's tenure as Head of Government of Mexico City. According to the book's review, the work was "plagued by irregularities" and was handed over to the OHL-Mexico consortium after its completion.

The case, dating back to 2015, was initiated by Peña Nieto as a form of revenge against Ebrard. Although initially attempts were made to incriminate Ebrard, he was later exonerated of any charges. Despite this, the book seems to bring new accusations against him at a complicated time, given his significant role in relations with the United States.

Although the content and findings presented in the book by Lizárraga and Solera are completely unknown, it is expected to generate more controversy around Ebrard and weaken his political negotiations. The work, categorized as "corporate crime" and aimed at young adults, promises to keep attention on this topic in the coming weeks.
