This Saturday, federal and Mexico City authorities announced the arrest of Abner 'N', known as 'El Traumado', who is identified as the leader and founder of the Independent Cartel of Acapulco (CIDA) in Guerrero. The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection reported that Abner 'N' is the creator of a criminal group that has generated violence in Acapulco.

Abner 'N' had violated his precautionary measure of home detention imposed by a judge in Guerrero. He is identified as one of the leaders of a criminal group that has caused problems in the port of Acapulco. The capture of Abner 'N' took place in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City.

Authorities accuse Abner 'N', alias 'El Traumado', of drug offenses in the form of possession with intent to sell and he also has an arrest warrant for qualified homicide against a man in Acapulco. He was presented to the corresponding control and criminal trial judge.

The arrest of Abner 'N' occurred as part of the National Security Strategy in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City. Several institutions, such as the Secretariat of National Defense, Secretariat of the Navy, Attorney General's Office of the Republic, National Guard, Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, General Justice Prosecutor's Office, and the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City, as well as the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guerrero, collaborated in this operation.
