Sandra Ávila Beltrán, known as the Queen of the Pacific, has returned to public life in 2022. With a past marked by violence as the niece of Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, founder of the defunct Guadalajara Cartel, her story dates back to 2007 when she was captured along with her then-partner Juan Diego Espinoza, alias El Tigre. After her detention, in 2012 she was extradited to the United States and a year later she pleaded guilty to offering money to avoid the detention of El Tigre, who acted as a liaison between the Northern Valley Cartel of Colombia and the Sinaloa Cartel. Subsequently, she was deported to Mexico the same year and imprisoned in Nayarit.

Sandra Ávila Beltrán, on the other hand, is a legendary figure in Sinaloa, where she has built her reputation. Her parents, María Luisa Beltrán Félix and Alfonso Ávila Quintero, have connections with the drug trafficker Rafael Caro Quintero. Beyond being a media figure in the crime world, Sandra has ventured into social media with an account on TikTok and presence on Facebook and Instagram. Through videos, she has shown a very different image from the one she used to project after her release in February 2015.

Recently, Sandra Ávila Beltrán has collaborated with the brand Cuadra in promoting a line of blouses that carries her nickname, La Reina. Although the long-sleeve blouse is not yet available on the brand's official website, its launch is expected soon. The Queen of the Pacific has reinvented herself as a registered brand for her clothing line, demonstrating that her name is not just a story but also a business in itself.
