On the upcoming March 8, the International Women's Day will be celebrated with a special context: it is the first time in North America that a woman holds the presidency. This event brings significant symbolism to the commemorative rituals that will take place.

Citlalli Hernández Mora, with her phrase "I do not arrive alone, we all arrive together," stands out as a natural option to represent this government in the framework of these festivities. It is planned that some members of the Presidential Cabinet, including the head of the Executive, will join the contingents participating in the scheduled activities for that date.

With the recommendation to be cautious due to current political tensions, possible ways to celebrate this day have been analyzed. It is expected that the Women’s Wellbeing pension will be a recognition of the hard work that women undertake in their double or triple daily shifts.

Citlalli Hernández, Secretary of Women, has joined feminist marches since her days as a grassroots activist to her current position in the government. Accompanied by other prominent figures such as Clara Brugada and various protagonists of the 4T, this participation symbolizes a change in style and a commitment to the feminist agenda.

Claudia Sheinbaum's administration has stood out for its focus on promoting gender equality and women's rights. On one occasion, she even allowed a group of female police officers to join a demonstration, generating controversy and showing visible support for the feminist struggle.

In the 4T, March 8 is considered a significant date with strong activism from the Morena supporters of feminism. This commitment has been a constant in Sheinbaum Pardo's career, who has demonstrated her solidarity with feminist demands.
