The upcoming election in which votes will be cast for the renewal of the Court will have a particularity: unlike other elections where votes are counted by citizens, this time public officials will be in charge of the counting. Additionally, it has been ensured that the printed ballots for the election are difficult to counterfeit, as they are made with special paper.

"The recognitions issued by the Chamber of Deputies have been a source of controversy at different times. Recently, it was discovered that some deputies paid for recognitions for people like the leader of Luz del Mundo, Naasón Joaquín García, without having asked for authorization for it," revealed El Universal in a report.

One of the personalities who has been pointed out for her involvement in these schemes is Norma Patricia Valencia, director of a foundation, who has tried to downplay the accusations against her. Apparently, these recognitions have been used to obtain benefits and public resources in a questionable manner.

Former presidential candidate Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas has strongly criticized the judicial reform proposed by the current government, which has sparked debate in public opinion. It is expected that the voting on this reform will be complex and unrepresentative for the voters, adding more controversy to the process.

A new controversy arose when it was discovered that a lawyer linked to drug trafficking received a recognition as "international ambassador of peace" from the Chamber of Deputies in a situation that continues to generate outrage and questions about the transparency of the granting of these awards.

In this context, the integrity of some public institutions has been called into question, such as the ISSSTE Foundation, which was accused of misappropriating funds and irregularly renting resources. These revelations have highlighted the need for increased oversight and transparency in the system of recognitions and awards within the governmental sphere.
