The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, expressed his optimism during the Flag Day ceremony by stating: 'Three better years will come for Nuevo León.' In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the Flag of Mexico as a symbol of hope, unity, and the sacrifice of national heroes.

García highlighted the mission of making Nuevo León the best place to be born, grow up, be educated, and live, noting that the state serves as an example for the rest of the country in terms of growth and development. After two years of conflicts and tensions, especially following the approval of the budget and the election of the State Attorney General, the governor stated that a phase of discord has closed to give way to constructive collaboration among the powers.
